Terms of use
Last updated 16 September 2026.
These are the rules for using UpcomingTrips. Using the site means agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What UpcomingTrips is
UpcomingTrips is a search index. We collect and list trips that travel organisers across Africa have already publicly advertised on their own channels, and let you compare them in one place. We are not a travel agent, a tour operator or a booking service.
What we don't do
- We do not sell trips. Every trip on the site is sold by the named organiser, not by us.
- We do not take payments and we do not hold a place for you when you register interest.
- We do not charge you a booking fee. If an organiser charges one, it's theirs — nothing on this site is added to the price they set.
- We do not verify prices, dates, inclusions or availability with each organiser individually — we display what they published, and note where a detail was not stated.
Interest and communication
When you use “I'm interested” on a trip we pass your details to that trip's organiser so they can contact you. It reserves nothing. You must give real details and only register your own interest — not someone else's.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time. Email hello@upcomingtrips.africa from the address on the account.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- Scrape, crawl or resell the inventory. It's here for individual travellers, not for automated copying.
- Try to break, overload or probe the site's security.
- Impersonate someone else or submit false information as an organiser or a traveller.
- Post anything unlawful, deceptive, or harassing when using our forms.
Content from organisers
Text, photography and pricing on trip pages originates with each organiser. Their brand names and images belong to them. We display them so travellers can find and compare trips; nothing on this site claims ownership of an organiser's content.
Disputes with an organiser
We list trips; we don't deliver them. If a trip doesn't match what the organiser advertised, that's between you and the organiser. We'll help by pointing you back to the original public listing where we can, and we take repeated misrepresentation seriously — organisers who consistently mislead travellers get removed.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We take real care with the inventory but we can't guarantee every detail is current — always confirm dates, prices and inclusions with the organiser before you pay them anything. To the extent the law allows, UpcomingTrips isn't liable for losses arising from your dealings with an organiser or from the site being unavailable.
Changes
We'll update this page as the site evolves. Material changes will be announced on the site and, for anyone with an account, emailed before they take effect. See also our Privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
